Licensed General Contractor, Co-President

Chad Chastain, Co-president of C3 Cabinetry and founder of Remarkable Renovations, has worked as a licensed general contractor in the Bay area for 15 years and has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Chad has been part of every imaginable task in the building and remodeling process. He began working in the family business which specialized in hardwood flooring and tile work. This sparked his passion for creating beautiful projects through ingenuity and expertise. Chad graduated top of his class with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University. He was recruited directly from school by a nationally known residential builder. After gaining valuable experience in the new home industry, Chad realized his true passion – the renovation and remodeling of older and historic homes. This challenging specialty involves a detail-oriented and precise skill set that has led him to excel in his field in the San Francisco Bay area. For the past 5 years, C3 Cabinetry has specialized in and completed hundreds of kitchen renovations in Marin County. Chad holds a California General Contractor’s License and a California C-10 Electrical License. One of Chad’s passions is flying. He holds a Private Pilot’s license and loves to explore Northern California by air. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and two dogs Zulu and Tango.

Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, Co-President

Sarah Chastain, Co-president of C3 Cabinetry, was born into the world of remodeling and construction as the daughter of two parents who were contractors. She has a strong background in customer service, sales, and aesthetics. She earned a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer Certification, one of just 550 designers in the USA with this designation by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Sarah specializes in unique designs tailored to meet the needs of each client. With a flair for design and strong attention to detail, she loves the entire process of making a project a reality. For the past 5 years as co-president of C3 Cabinetry, she has specialized in and completed hundreds of kitchen designs in Marin County and can aide clients with cabinet layout expertise, material selections, CAD Drawing, and Permit Planning and Submittal help.

 

One of Sarah’s passions is cooking. She enjoys spending her spare :me in the kitchen making creative and healthy dishes which gives her design inspiration for perfectly equipped kitchens. In addition to enjoying spending time with Chad, Zulu, and Tango, she also serves on the Board of the Ridgeback Rescue of the US.
